National Journal of Professional Social Work (NJPSW)
National Journal of Professional Social Work (NJPSW) aims to nurture the evidence based practice among professional social workers in India. The journal is published annually and articles are selected from award category papers of Annual National Conference of ISPSW. Articles are contributed by eminent educators, practitioners, researchers, scholars and students of Social Work.
Submission Guidelines
Submit only original research paper, which should not be submitted to any other journal for publication and presented in any other conference.
Plagiarism policy:Authors may use www.duplichecker.com or any other software or website to check and avoid plagiarism.
Number of words: 3500-5000 (excluding abstract and references) and in MS word
Font style: Times New Roman
Font size: 12
Reference Style: Follow APA 6th style
The full paper should be organized under following sub headings:
- Abstract: The abstract should not be more than 300 words. The abstract should be organized in, a brief introduction, methodology, results and conclusion with 3-5 key words. The names, email, phone numbers and institutional affiliations of the authors must be mentioned at the footnote),
- Introduction (Includes background of study, rationale of the study, scope of the study, brief review of literature etc.),
- Methodology (Includes design of the study, sampling methods, institute ethics clearance, statistical analysis etc.),
- Results (Only main results)
- Discussion (Do not simply repeat what showed in results, illustrate the relevance of findings)
- Conclusion
- Mention Funding source, acknowledgement and Conflicts of interest
- References (APA 6th style – using EndNote or Mendeley Software)
Covering letter includes
Covering Letter by the first author may address the secretary of ISPSW, requesting to consider the paper for award/publication and attach an author declaration stating that the current paper is not submitted or presented elsewhere and add a table contains names, contact number,address, email IDs and signatures of all authors. You may specify the corresponding author (presenting author in ANC is considered as corresponding author, if article is selected from ANC award category papers) in covering letter.
